Becoming President of the United States may seem like a dream job. The road to get there is hard enough, standing out amongst other political figures within your party to be nominated as the person that will represent them. And then there is the exhausting process of campaigning, often throwing mean jabs, half-truths about your opponent, all to gain support from undecided voters.
The person who is elected President of the U.S. not only governs over the 325 million Americans, but is also responsible for the political stability around the globe. Everything from education, health care, infrastructures, the environment, and the military, among other departments, fall under his responsibility to succeed.
It’s no wonder the men who have served this great country age at rapid speeds. Having the weight of the world on one man’s shoulder is a heavy burden to carry.
